On July 31st 2014, Aniruddha Mallik (President & CEO of Agera Consulting) shall be presenting a talk at the Tama Graduate School of Business in Tokyo.

"Why Indian business leaders have been so successful globally and what the Japanese can learn from them"

One year ago from today, I started my "adventure" at Agera Consulting. Undertaking this new challenge was exciting and also very tough. But but more importantly, every step of the way, the experience keeps on teaching me something and pushing me forward. There's a long long way to go and I am certain bigger and better milestones lie ahead. My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to everyone for all the support and encouragement.

I would like to especially thank our customers and partners. It is a privilege to have been able to associate with you and I re-iterate Agera's commitment to play an even more important role in your success.

In the coming year, besides strengthening our existing services and offerings, we are also looking to delve into newer areas where we can leverage our vast experience to benefit customers. Moreover, with the new Government now in place in India, we expect rapid growth in India-Japan relations and business transactions. Agera will aim to position itself as a key player in this growth and work towards bringing the two nations closer.

Once again, thank you for your support and I look forward to having more of the same as Agera continues its journey ahead in full steam!

Aniruddha Mallik
President & CEO

As we get ready to usher in a brand new year, I must take a moment to reflect on the year that has just a few more days left. 2013 will remain a very special year for Agera because we started our journey in this year. In spite of the challenges and the initial nerves that affect any entrepreneur about to start something new, I am glad that Agera finally took off earlier this year. I must take this oportunity to sincerely thank my partners and well wishers who have made this possible. Their continuous support and encouragement have made this new start very special and an enjoyable experience.

Tokyo 2020

Team Agera congratulates the people of Japan on being chosen as the host country for the 2020 summer Olympics. This is a very proud moment for the country and a remarkable achievement considering the difficulties that Japan has had to go through post the March 2011 disastor. Yet again, the people of this fascinating country have shown the world that human resilience can overcome the toughest of challenges.

More than 10 million people from all corners of the world are expected to visit during the 17 days that the Olympics shall be playing out in Tokyo and we look forward to an event that will raise the bar of excellence so high that the rest of the world shall be left in awe.

External Affairs Minister of India, Mr. Salman Khurshid

On the backdrop of a visit to Japan by the Hon. External Affairs Minister of India, Mr. Salman Khurshid, it is even more clear to both nations at this point in time that the partnership between Japan and India is one that will play a critical role in the shaping of the 21st century. Much has changed globally in the last decade. Once global power centers have been pushed to the brink by crippling economic meltdowns, prolonged wars and ever increasing economic and military influence of countries like China, India, Russia, etc.. Bilateral relations between many countries have also gone through major transformations. Especially in the context of Japan and China, countries who have a mixed history but have been economically interdependent for several decades, the situation has changed in more ways than one. Recent escalations of tensions between Japan and China have forced Japan to rethink their association with China and seriously consider alternative options to counter the threat of China's dominance.
